There's a way of reading this that I keep coming back to. Alan Watts described existence as the universe playing hide-and-seek with itself: one thing splitting into many so it has something to discover, then slowly finding its way back. If that's even partly true, then of course we keep agreeing. We'd be the same thing looking at itself from a few billion different seats.

I'll be honest that not everyone buys this. Some scholars argue the wording isn't a costume over one shared truth, and that the culture you're raised in actually shapes the experience itself, so there's no clean universal underneath. Fair. But even the disagreement is interesting, because we're still circling the same question from different sides.
